MARRIAGE REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY IN MUMBAI

- The groom or the bride should be a permanent resident of India for obtaining the marriage certificate in Maharashtra.

- The groom must have attained the age of 21, and the bride must be the age of 18.
MARRIAGE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IN MUMBAI
- Submit the application in the prescribed form along with the necessary documents in the court of the Marriage Officer (Addl. District Magistrate, Collectorate).
- The Court will get all the declarations of the parties verified, and shall register the marriage in the presence of four witnesses.
- The marriage registration certificate will be issued after the registration of the marriage.
