Can the CBSE Board deny students to make any changes to their Marksheet?

The court then said that the Board’s laws were concerned with paperwork so the court took immediate action and introduced a proper medium to correct the student’s name.
It was highly unethical on the Board’s part to refuse student’s right to correct their information. But now any student of CBSE can make changes to their Marksheet.
Justice Khanwilkar said that to change one’s name is their right, and CBSE Board can take away this right from students.
As the CBSE mark sheet is important the bench said that neglecting to change student’s names is to like to play with their future in the name of administration efficiency.
