Why is Pest Control service required?

Pest control is necessary because rodents and insects carry diseases, infest your kitchens and bedrooms, and bite you or your pets. The purpose of removing any kind of pest from your home, garage, or yard is to keep you safe and healthy. For example, rodents can leave feces on or near food they find in your kitchen. If you accidentally eat contaminated food, you can become very ill.

Most bugs belong in an environment other than your home. If you find one or two, it is probably a random few that happened to fly or crawl in when you let the dog out or brought the groceries in. Those are not a problem. But, when you see insects on a regular basis after unsuccessfully getting rid of them with retail products, it’s likely that you’ve got an infestation in your home.

What is Included in Pest Control Service?

  • Visit Of Engineer & Problem: When the exterminator arrives, they’ll usually start by asking you about any problems you’ve been having. This is the time to tell them about persistent issues you may have with ants, roaches, ladybugs, or other common pests. Using this information, the pest control technician will determine what actions to take during the visit.

  • AC condenser and evaporator coil cleaning: Dust and dirt are core enemies of your air conditioning or AC system as they cause overheating of the system. During AC service, the PRO cleans the dust and debris from the condenser coil and evaporator coil and other key components of the system. In a split AC, the condenser coils are located in the outdoor unit.

  • Interior Treatment: Next, the technician will go around the inside of your home. They’ll spray around the interior perimeters of every room. They’ll walk through every room and hallway of your home looking for places where bugs tend to hide out. If special attention needs to be given to a particular area, they’ll take care of it at this time. The insecticides used today are generally odor-free and safe after they’ve dried. However, always confirm these details with the exterminator before they spray.

  • Exterior treatment comes next: The exterior treatment comes next. Just as they did with the inside of your home, the exterminator will walk around the outside of your home. They’ll treat the foundation, as well as around windows and doors. This creates a barrier so that pests from the outside won’t attempt to come in.

  •  Warranties or guarantees Before the exterminator leaves, they should explain the terms of any warranties or guarantees they provide. Most services will stand behind the work they do for a certain period of time. If the bugs come back within this timeframe, you may be able to get the areas re-treated at no additional charge.

  • Overall inspection of the Home: PRO performs the inspection of key components of infected place or material.

Please note that any warranty on service, repair or parts is provided by the PRO assigned to the case. Your Doorstep, being an aggregator does not provide any warranty on the service/repair/parts. However, we definitely synchronize with customer and PRO in case of repeat problem and strive to solve the issue. Customer is suggested to talk with the PRO about the warranty on parts and service before the job starts to avoid any future disputes.
