TWO TYPES OF PASSPORT APPLICATION IN INDIA

– NORMAL PASSPORT
One can apply for passport under normal passport category. Under Normal Passport process, it takes approx 24 to 30 days in getting passport.

– TATKAL PASSPORT
If you have emergency or urgent, then you can apply in Tatkal Passport. In Tatkal passport process it takes 3-4 days time in getting passport issued.

For NORMAL CASE PASSPORT FEES is

Minor – Rs. 1000 (upto 30 Pages)
Minor – Rs. 1500 (upto 60 Pages)

Adult Passport – Rs. 1500 (upto 30 Pages)
Adult Passport – Rs. 2000 (upto 60 Pages)

For TATKAL CASE PASSPORT FEES – additional fees is Rs. 2000 both in case of minor and adult. It can be paid by cash or online via debit card, credit card, ne-banking.
