•  Start by registering on the passport seva website.
• Now, login to the portal through your current login ID.
• Choose “Apply for the fresh passport/ re-issue of passport” and proceed.
• When you have filled in all the details, click the submit button.
• Click on Pay and Schedule Appointment to schedule an appointment. Online payment is required for appointments at Passport Seva Kendras.
• Now Submit the application.
• Get your Application Reference Number by printing the Application Receipt (ARN).
• Pay your passport fee at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and bring all the necessary original documents to the PSK.

Eligibility to Apply For Tatkal Passport

If you meet certain requirements, you can apply for a Tatkal passport.

In order to apply for a passport under the Tatkaal Scheme, applicants over the age of 18 can submit any three of the documents listed in the List of Acceptable Documents.
